Tech. course offered at the Institutions affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida including other mentioned universities situated in territory of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2012-2013 shall be conducted by Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow commonly known as UPSEE . ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF B.TECH :- The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of B.Tech. course shall be as under:- For admission to first year of B.Tech. through UPSEE 2012 candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as given in clause 7.1. Admission to Ist Year B.Tech. for vacant seats the will be given strictly on merit basis. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBA :- The candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear, subject to the condition that they must fulfill the eligibility criteria as given in clause 10.1 AND 10.2 at the time of counseling. The eligibility criteria for Direct admission for MBA / MCA is minimum 60% marks in the eligible examination.
