Facilities: Birla Institute of Technology and Science is the first Indian institution to set up a campus outside India. It has campuses in Pilani (Rajasthan), Hyderabad, Goa, Bangalore and Dubai. The total area of the campus at Pilani is over 990 acres with built-up area of 49 acres. The institute has 11 hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. There is a separate mess for the girl's hostel.
