The admission to regular B.Tech and B.Pharm. Programmes are made based on the merit secured in Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by A.P. State Council for Higher Education. Similarly, admission to B.Tech (For three tear Diploma Holders) is based on the merit secured in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted by the A.P. State Council for Higher Education. The diploma holders successful in ECET are also eligible for admission into regular B.Tech. courses, at Second Year level. JNTU conducts an ntrance examination of B.Tech. (Correspondence-cum-Contact Course) for admitting employed Diploma Holders of Engineering.

Facilities: The University is nestled in the heart of the city at Kukkatpally. The University lies amidst 100 acres fully residential campus that is divided into clusters of buildings. It has well maintained book library, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity. All the science labs are highly maintained and have been equipped with modern machineries and equipments. The institute also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls. The library hosts a collection of nearly 61,414 books with 124 journals and periodicals.
