OVERVIEW: Admissions: Admission to the MBBS course is through the highly competitive entrance test West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (Medical). 15% of the seats are filled through the All India Pre-Medical Test. For postgraduate courses one has to clear the West Bengal Postgraduate Medical Entrance 0r the All India Postgraduate Medical Entrance examinations. Fees :- University registration fee : Rs. 1000/- Examination fee (before appearing in each prof. examination): Rs. 1000/- Monthly fee : Rs. 750/- Hostel fees : Rs. 8/- per month (Rs. 12/- per month for Senior Boys Hostel) Miscellaneous fees like annual library fees, magazine fees, students union fees, etc.
