The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality. 2. The candidate must be either 17 years of age. 3.Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized Board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS  courses. The Backward class candidates must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificate along with the application. Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose result will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible to appear at AIET.   Selection Procedure :- Candidates who secure the minimum 50% marks at AIET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils are eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / B.P.T. courses and can be offered provisional admission to these on the basis of their interse merit at the time of counseling. For details, refer to para Counseling Eligibility criteria for appearing for AIPGMET (All India Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test) : Eligibility : The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate / valid passport shall constitute proof of nationality. The candidate must have passed M.B.B.S. Examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained registration either from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council after completion of one year rotating internship training. The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council can also appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal / Dean of the College regarding the likely date of completion of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected. Selection Procedure : The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch / discipline of this choice when it is his turn for counseling.
