Tech. or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Tech. as mentioned against each course/specialization in Table-1. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get 10% relaxation in qualifying marks. Admissions to these courses in regular category are given in following sequence: 2.1.1.1 GATE Qualified General Category/SC/ST/OBC Candidates with valid GATE Score are given admissions on the basis of merit prepared with Valid GATE Score. 2.1.1.2 Appeared in GATE but not qualified (securing less than minimum qualifying marks but greater than zero), are also considered for admission on the basis of merit list prepared with Valid GATE Score, however without Scholarship and only if seats remain vacant after the counselling of GATE qualified candidates of Para 2.1.1.1. 2 2.1.1.3 If seats remain vacant even after the counselling of candidates of Para 2.1.1.2, NONGATE Candidates (NOT appeared in GATE or having Zero GATE Score) are also considered for admission, without Scholarship. For NONGATE Candidates, selection will be based on the merit of the written Test conducted by the Institute/Departments.
