Izmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü (iyte)
Izmir Institute of Technology is one of the state universities in Turkey and one that was established in 1992 with a view to offering a high level of education and carrying out research in technological fields. The medium of education at our Institute is English. It is one of the two Turkish institutes of technology, which are the most advanced models of technical universities in today’s world. At our institute educational and research activities are carried out in 10 undergraduate, 25 master’s and 12 doctorate programs with a total of 2,200 students, 1600 of which are here for their undergraduate education. It should also be noted that 6 of the master’s and 2 of the doctorate programs are interdisciplinary. All educational and research activities conform to international norms. With our student and project-based educational methods, our mission is to pave the way for contemporary individuals who will be able to produce the necessary technologies for their country with their creativity, research ability and success in team work. Graduates are highly appreciated both within the country and abroad and we can justifiably boast that they are admitted to top master’s programs with scholarships.
