The Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas offers several Bachelor of Science degree programs (all requiring 120 semester credit hours) and prepares students for the world of business and best practices. By graduation, students will have taken classes with professors who know them by name, had the opportunity to take part in student organizations and international study trips with professors as their guides. All students are required to complete a minimum 160 hour internship or practicum experience. Students can also take advantage of fast-track programs, which are designed to permit undergraduate students enrolled at UT Dallas to begin work on the MS or MBA degrees before graduation.Naveen Jindal School of Management offers a range of Master of Science degrees in addition to its MBA and PhD courses. These include an MS in Business Analytics, a MS in Finance and an MS in Management Science. The school's range of specialized master's degrees is represented by its appearance in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master's Ranking. Each of the three degrees mentioned above is an 18-24 months program. The business analytics degree is likely to be of particular interest to students keen to pursue a career in data science, big data and analytics. As part of the business analytics program, students can choose from a range of elective courses, including marketing analytics, healthcare analytics and financial analytics.Finance students will learn how to analyze financial information, manage risk and portfolios, as well as gain proficiency in spreadsheets and other technology used to evaluate financial data. Students can choose to either study a flexible course and complete it at their own pace, or as part of a cohort and graduate within one year. The latter has no flexibility when choosing electives.
